A Great Start To The Year At Blue Heron Bridge!

Hey guys the rush is on at the bridge with the sightings of many post larval fish! Number one among those is the amount of juvenile seahorses that were spotted this past week.

Barb and I found 5 little guys in almost as many colors that fell into the 2 to 3 inch range

Followed closely by the gangs of Highhat Drums found under most every ledge. and the Highhats are really tiny, the size of your baby fingernail.

Along with other species like this little Scrawled Cowfish the nursery is teeming with life!

Barb and I are committing to spend more time at the bridge this year(already been there 4 times), so you’ll be seeing lots more content I hope. Interested in seeing our list so far? jump over to our sight and have a look!

On another note, we’ve added a new Florida wildlife species to our life list!

It’s a Reddish Egret! Check out that pink beak!

Stay tuned for more.
